DivEx is an addition to the VENT PRO explosion pressure relief device.

It limits the opening angle of the VENT PRO and directs the explosion shock wave and flame into the defined safety space. This reduces the danger zone around the explosion pressure relief device and increases the usable working space.

DivEx can be fitted to the VENT PRO explosion pressure relief device supplied by RSBP.

Explosion venting panels VMP move the shockwave and unburned explosion products to the outside through special openings. This reduces the overpressure and does not compromise the structure of the equipment to be protected.

Description

DivEx is an accessory to the explosion venting devices VENT PRO.

DivEx limits the opening angle of the VENT PRO and directs the blast pressure wave and flame into the required safe space.

Doing so reduces the hazardous area around the explosion venting device, increases the usable operational space, and provides optimal explosion protection.

DIVEX flame deflectors are certified to EN 14797 and EN 14491

Installation

Maintenance is carried out in accordance with the instructions in the VENT PRO user manual.

DivEx is an accessory to the VENT PRO and is automatically activated. DivEx must only be serviced by a trained, physically and mentally fit person. When carrying out inspection and repair work in the immediate vicinity of the protected equipment, it must be ensured that the equipment is switched off and that there is no risk of explosion.

The VENT PRO is a life-threatening device if these safety instructions are not followed. In addition to damage to process equipment and defects, it can cause permanent or fatal injury to personnel. This risk must be eliminated. The user is obliged to include these instructions in his own safety instructions.

The DivEx device must be serviced at the same time as the VENT PRO according to the VENT PRO user manual.

The installation of the deflector must be recorded in a special logbook, date and initials, signature of the authorised person. The logbook is provided with the VENT PRO explosion pressure relief device upon customer’s request.
